Spatial Information Day - South Australia

Spatial Information Day 2010 (SID 2010) and the South Australian Spatial Excellence Awards 2010 (SASEA 2010) will be held on Friday 13 August 2010 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. The full day SID 2010 program will be followed by the SASEA 2010 dinner.

Spatial Information Day’s are educational and promotional events that provide individuals and organisations opportunities to view innovative spatial technologies and projects through presentations and displays.

SID 2010 is presented by South Australia’s three principal spatial organisations:

• Spatial Industries Business Association - SIBA
• Spatial Information Committee – SICOM
• Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute - SSSI

The program includes a range of interesting presentations on spatial initiatives and activities. This event enables attendees to broaden their knowledge of significant new applications and developments in the spatial community. Additionally, the day offers a networking opportunity facilitating communication and professional development.

SID 2010 will feature high-level keynote and plenary sessions in the morning, followed by concurrent presentation sessions in the afternoon. The conference format will showcase leaders in the industry, and feature significant technological and project advancements from spatial practitioners in South Australia.

Delegates will also be able to gain valuable insights from the sponsor exhibition, which will showcase spatial technology from across the industry.
