The inaugural Spatial Information Day was held in 2000. Since then the event has been held regularly with the support of State Government and more recently, industry participation. Developments within the spatial information industry and their applications to government and private sector projects are demonstrated each year to over 300 delegates.
In 2009 the International Spatial Sciences Conference was held in Adelaide, in 2010 SID returns to South Australia.
The success of Spatial Information Days has seen each event grow in attendance. Keynote speakers from across Australia present to the ever-expanding audience. For an insight into what SID has to offer, browse through some information from SID2008
